“A person’s most valuable asset is not a head full of knowledge but a heart full of love, an ear ready to listen, and a hand willing to help others.” – Anonymous
I believe we are to be helpers. We can find a place and purpose to help others in many ways. Daily life consists of challenges from small to big. In those challenges, counselors can walk alongside each individual to be a listener, help widen perspectives, and be present. My purpose is to help individuals navigate the challenges they are facing within a safe therapeutic relationship.
My Experience
Using an attachment-based approach, I help couples and individuals heal the impact of family-of-origin wounds. I guide couples in identifying emotions, recognizing triggers, and rebuilding connection through clear, compassionate communication. With individuals, I focus on the lasting effects of early family dynamics, empowering you to create healthier patterns in your current relationships.
I also specialize in supporting women and teenage girls through life’s challenges. For women, I provide steady support through transitions, difficulties, and emotional pain with a focus on healing and growth. For teen girls, I offer a safe, affirming space to build self-confidence, strengthen identity, and develop practical tools for managing stress. My goal is for women and teens to feel heard, valued, and equipped to face life with resilience.
I believe that our primary relationships can provide an essential foundation for feeling safe, being seen, and feeling secure. When secure attachment has not been experienced, relationships and life challenges can feel overwhelming. Under stress, our thoughts can skew our perception and decision-making. I am here to help you gain clarity and navigate the thought processes and decisions needed to move forward.
