At a very early age, I learned the importance of respect, relationships and second chances. Relationships are very important to us and they have been our guides at good times in our lives and the not so great times.
I strongly believe in second chances, I believe we all need someone to trust us and believe in us. I believe in people and in giving people another chance in life. Someone at a time in our lives believed in us and has helped us to be where we are.
Respect is something that as a society, we seem to be losing the grip on. If we respect ourselves and others, I believe it will take us a long way in life. I believe in honor and respect.
I have had the opportunity to work with people individually and also in a group setting in the past e.g. domestic violence group, communal living group.
I come with experience, knowledge and the ability to work with different kinds of people in various situations and stages of life from years of volunteer experiences working with different organizations and groups in areas of counseling and ministries. I have experience working in collaboration with different agencies in the community, e.g. social services, law enforcement, and various community organizations.
My clients receive care in a safe, non-judgmental and compassionate atmosphere so that they feel free to explore and work through their feelings, thoughts, and beliefs. I will treat you with the utmost respect that you deserve.
As a Licensed Registered Nurse, I began my journey in counseling with considerable experience, including the knowledge and ability to deal with different kinds of people in various situations and stages of life. I also have experience working with victims of sexual assault and abuse. I am experienced in collaborating with different agencies in the community such as social services, law enforcement, and various community organizations. I have vast cultural experience and competency due to my travels and work experience in various countries around the world.
