I believe in people and in giving people another chance in life. My goal is to work with people in a safe, non-judgmental, and loving environment. Someone, at a time in our lives, believed in us and has helped us to be where we are. I want to be that for people. The therapies I offer are catered to each person or family’s individualized situation.
As a Licensed Registered Nurse, I began my journey in counseling with considerable experience, including the knowledge and ability to deal with different kinds of people in various situations and stages of life. I also have experience working with victims of sexual assault and abuse. Between 2005-2007, I was trained and licensed as a Sexual Assault Nurse for Collin County by the office of the Attorney General.
I am experienced in collaborating with different agencies in the community such as social services, law enforcement, and various community organizations. I have vast cultural experience and competency due to my travels and work experience in various countries around the world.
In addition to my professional experience, my volunteer experiences include working with different organizations and churches in various areas of counseling and ministries, and I am comfortable providing Judeo-Christian faith-based counseling for those who require it.
I earned my Masters of Arts degree in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor
I currently have evening and weekend availability. Call today to schedule an appointment at 214-475-0345.
